Palm Beach

A couple weeks ago we loaded up my car and went to Palm Beach International Raceway. I hadn't driven the car in months and I had never driven at this track, so it's safe to say that I had some nerves getting back in the driver's seat!
I made two safe runs the first evening and it felt good to be back at it again! We stayed in Palm Beach over night and went back to the track the next day to continue where I had left off. Each run felt amazing and I even got the chance to do my very first practice run at night!
After a long day, towing back had to be one of my favorite things. I realized that I made it through the past 2 days of training and had a blast doing so... (and I could sit down and relax a little ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) Fans are yelling and waving, cheering on the jet girl as I steer my way back to the pit area while trying to keep myself from running over the towline.
It was a pretty incredible feeling having people that I had never even met, cheer me on and tell me that they came just to see the jet car!
I can't wait to get back to the track and eventually finish my licensing.
That brings me to... UPCOMING EVENTS!!!!
1. TOMORROW I get my very first autograph cards (AHHH, I am very excited)
2. THIS FRIDAY (7/28) I am heading back to Palm Beach International Raceway with the team to make some more practice runs!
3. THIS SUNDAY (7/30) the LMS team will be at the Palm Beach Outlets from 8 AM-12 PM for Cars & Coffee. Both Elaine's Florida Tech/Space Coast jet dragster and my dragster will be on display so come and check out some cool cars and meet our team while you sip on coffee!
4. August 5th, Blaze Re-Lit is in Barnes & Noble!! We will be having a comic book launch so be at Barnes & Noble in Melbourne, FL to get your copies of the comic, learn how to draw Nitro the power pug, and even see Blaze's real-life jet car on display! 5. August 6th we leave to go to Michigan for a few days of fun and attend the Northern Nationals...
6. The Northern Nationals is August 11-12 at US 131 Motorsports Park!
